I was. So I got this power backup system from Su-Kam, pure sine wave LI UPS, to power my laptop, modem, and a lamp. It was a little expensive (11,000 rupees), but worth it. It was a little noisy too--it emits a very loud, piercing buzz every 30 seconds when it's in backup mode. I had the techs come out to disable the buzz, which they did by dripping candle wax on the buzzer on the circuit board! Not a very high tech solution, but it worked! - Cynthia , posted 07/22/07 |
